BUSY BUT NOT PRODUCTIVE

Pursuits of life are in categories and order of preference. Some things we run after are things that are meant to run after us while things we don’t run after try to catch up with us but we are far ahead of them. Using time is not tantamount to spending time. Do you run after riches, fame, praises, recognition, material things rather than pursuing exploration, replenishing, valuables, healthy life, healthy relationship, love e.t.c.

Ponder on this. ‘Since your existence on earth, what have you given back to the nature you consume daily, the people that matters to you, the environment that shelters you and the body that bears YOU’.

Are you a consumer or a producer??? Consuming nature, consuming time, consuming resources, consuming people and never have anything valuable to give back???

The dead sea stinks because it only receives.

Don’t be a dead living being.

Your country needs you, your people needs you, your environment needs you and you finally need yourself.

GIRLS’ RIGHTS AND GENDER EQUALITY IN NIGERIA

Girls face discrimination and abuse simply for being female and young. Girls and young women in some part of Nigeria, are often denied their right to education, freedom of speech, right to engage actively and equally in the society, to take important decision about their future and bodies, to be given justice and equal opportunities and protection from gender based violence.

I believe that gender equality is central to achieving long-term change in our  country, Nigeria, where many women most times suffer segregation, discrimination and marginalization. I have a vision to see a world that values girls, promotes their rights and ends injustice. All girls have the right to equality, safe education and access to lifelong learning. In Nigeria, an educated girl is more likely to marry later and have fewer, healthier children. She has a better chance of staying healthy herself. All girls and young women have the right to take part fully in the political life of the community and country. The government of our dear country Nigeria should support and empower young female Leaders to drive social, economic and political change. All girls have the right to decide if and when to marry or start a family. Ensuring girls are able to make decision about their future is fundamental to achieving gender equality. No girl or young woman should be forced to marry anyone against her will or choice simply because she is a girl. Girls have the right to reach their full potential, to realise their personal ambitions. To do this, the government of our dear country must ensure that girls live free from violence and discrimination and must be given equal economic opportunities.

PEACE ANTHONY.

I LOVE…..

I love but I can’t give,

I love but I can’t sacrifice ,

I love but I can’t wait,

I love but I can’t express it,

I love but I can’t endure,

I love but I can’t be truthful,

I love but I can’t be honest,

I love but I can’t forgive,

  • Love; does not consist in the abundance of things                             possessed but things given.
  • Love; believes the best of every person.
  • Love; is not pushy but patient and pure.
  • Love; does not envy nor jealous.
  • Love; does not insist on its own right.
  • Love; is kind not nice.

DARE TO LOVE…..

THE IDEAL ME BUT THE REAL ME

I am naturally designed to love more unconditionally, understand better, appreciate people and things more, respect and honour people, be fairer, do what I really love  that gives intrinsic reward than the extrinsic reward, be fearless, be strong, be bold, be wise, give, be hardworking, be truthful, be friendly without fear, trust and believe the best of people and neglect their weaknesses but all I see doing is the opposite.

What is really wrong? Is it because of my past, the way I was maltreated, the way I was unloved, the way I was misunderstood, the way I was neglected and thrown stones at that is trailing me to a dead end of nagging, depression, bitterness, timidity, anxiety, worry, laziness, hatred, settling for the least, can’t love without any string attached or benefit, stingy, selfish, fearful. Of course, we blame these and that for masking the ideal us.

Consider this, what has it profit you giving back some of these garbages? Who suffered the guilt of these most? Who lost sleep, appetite and peace showing the negative traits? Remember, you have the whole commendation or blame for either your success or your failure, there is no excuse for ignorance or abscond knowledge.

Dear reader, open your eyes and heart, see the beauty in everything and people, love with all your heart, appreciate with sincerity and be truthful. Unmask the ideal you and enjoy a better life. What you give life is what it will give you in return.

A WAKE UP CALL!!!

I will plow……

I will plant……

I will get……

I will gather……

I will build……

I will seek…..

I will go……

I will ask……

I will run……

I will speak out…..

I will unite…..

I will work……..

Endless are your list of “I Will’s”, when will it be “I have”. Dreams may fail, goals may falter, visions may blurr if all is built on the foundation of words and not actions.

Wake up, don’t fear, don’t fidget, don’t panic. Your life is far valuable than to devalue with shadows.
